\u00c9diteurs de livres de poche \u2014 Folio, Point, \u2014 publiez Trust<\/em> d\u00e8s le printemps prochain. Ce livre est g\u00e9nial. Autrement dit : il y a du g\u00e9nie \u00e0 chaque page, \u00e0 commencer par le titre. Trust<\/em> le nouveau livre de Pavel Hak, para\u00eet (en librairie depuis le 29 octobre dernier et au format num\u00e9rique depuis le 15 octobre dernier) un an et quelques jours apr\u00e8s Autobiographie, \u00e9galement g\u00e9nial mais dans un registre sensiblement diff\u00e9rent, aux m\u00eames \u00e9ditions KC. L\u2019\u00e9dition de poche s\u2019impose id\u00e9alement \u00e0 ce livre qui peut se lire chapitre par chapitre entre deux ou trois stations de m\u00e9tro tout en jubilant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Constitu\u00e9 de courts chapitres \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9criture cisel\u00e9e, les r\u00e9cits s\u2019entrem\u00ealent. Il y est question de notre monde, sous des angles social, \u00e9conomique, financier, politique, de trafics, d\u2019affaires, petites ou grandes, qui le fa\u00e7onnent mais surtout le d\u00e9terminent. Regardons ou \u00e9coutons les informations, \u00e0 la t\u00e9l\u00e9vision ou \u00e0 la radio, pr\u00eatons attention \u00e0 un talk-show, projetons-nous en quelque situation d\u2019une violence banale, banale \u00e0 en d\u00e9sesp\u00e9rer. On pourrait se dire: \u00ab c\u2019est du Pavel Hak, comme dans Trust<\/em> \u00bb. Sauf que Trust<\/em> est incomparablement mieux parce qu\u2019il s\u2019agit de litt\u00e9rature et nous invite \u00e0 r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En lisant Pavel Hak en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral mais Trust<\/em> en particulier, les auteurs de litt\u00e9rature d\u00e9filent : Sade, Balzac, Dos Passos, Ha\u0161ek. Dans la lign\u00e9e de Warax<\/em> (Seuil, Fiction et Cie, 2009), Trust<\/em> traverse et transforme des clich\u00e9s du monde tel qu\u2019il est en autant de questions que le lectorat peut se poser: telle ou telle proposition, telle ou telle phrase est-elle une interrogation morale? Telle ou telle tournure de phrase est-elle ironique ou satirique ? Qui sait.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le plus \u00e9tonnant tient sans doute \u00e0 ceci : il est possible d\u2019apercevoir dans le texte une lueur d\u2019espoir. L\u2019accumulation de faits sordides, r\u00e9voltants, traduit une saturation. La narration, \u00e0 plusieurs reprises, est de m\u00eame tonalit\u00e9 que celle qui ouvre par exemple Autobiographie<\/em>. On ne peut pas se laisser imposer quoi que ce soit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00c0 propos, ce titre, \u00ab\u00a0trust\u00a0\u00bb, d\u2019o\u00f9 peut-il venir ? S\u2019agit d\u2019une r\u00e9f\u00e9rence ou d\u2019un clin d\u2019\u0153il au groupe de hard rock fran\u00e7ais \u00e9ponyme ? On peut en douter. Faut-il y entendre la confiance par exemple celle que l\u2019on est suppos\u00e9 avoir en la monnaie, tant l\u2019argent est omnipr\u00e9sent dans le livre ? Ou convient-il de recevoir ce \u00ab\u00a0trust\u00a0\u00bb au sens d\u2019une organisation, d\u2019un conglom\u00e9rat anglo-saxon, d\u2019un entit\u00e9 juridico-\u00e9conomique ? Pavel Hak nous laisse en d\u00e9cider.
